Classification and Application of PTFE Membrane

1. PTFE clothing film

Using the porous property of polytetrafluoroethylene plastic resin, a microporous film was prepared by bidirectional drawing method. The surface of the film can reach more than a billion micropores per square centimeter, and the diameter of each microhole (0.1μm-0.5μm) is hundreds of times smaller than the diameter of water molecules (20μm-100μm), and tens of thousands of times larger than water vapor molecules (0.0003μm-0.0004μm), so that water vapor can pass, and water droplets can not pass. Using this microporous structure can achieve excellent waterproof and moisture permeability function.
 
In addition, because the hole is extremely small and the longitudinal bending arrangement is not standardized, the wind cannot pass through, so that it has the characteristics of wind protection and heat preservation. After being compounded with other fabrics, it is widely used in military clothing, medical clothing, leisure clothing, special protective clothing such as fire protection, anti-virus, immersion operation, outdoor sports clothing, shoes, hats, gloves and other accessories, as well as sleeping bags, tents, rain gear and other materials.

2. PTFE air filter membrane

The use of polytetrafluoroethylene microporous membrane unique node fibril, smooth surface, chemical resistance, air permeability, water permeability, large air permeability, flame retardant, high temperature resistance, strong acid and alkali resistance, non-toxic properties, can be used for atmospheric dust removal, air purification and so on. The product made of the membrane has high filtration efficiency, up to 99.99%, and is close to zero emission. Low running resistance, fast filtering speed; Long service life, reusable, thus reducing operating costs.

Mainly used in chemical industry, steel, metallurgy, carbon black, power generation, cement, waste incineration and other industrial furnace flue gas filtration. The pore size of the PTFE filter membrane can be controlled between 0.2 and 15μm, and the porosity can reach more than 85%.

3. PTFE air purification membrane

Air purification film is based on polytetrafluoroethylene as raw material, after swelling and stretching to form a microporous film, the film is covered with a special process on a variety of fabrics and substrates, becoming a new filter material, the membrane pore size is small (0.05 ~ 0.45μm), uniform distribution, large porosity, while maintaining air circulation, It can filter all dust particles, including bacteria, to achieve purification and ventilation purposes, and is widely used in pharmaceutical, biochemical, microelectronics and laboratory consumables.
 
PTFE membrane composite in various specifications of textile fabrics to form composite fabrics, can be used in sports clothing, cold clothing, military, fire, public security, medical, anti-biological and other special clothing, shoes, hats, gloves and sleeping bags, tents and so on. PTFE film composite on glass fiber, needle felt, P84 to form a coated filter material, can be widely used in chemical industry, steel, metallurgy, carbon black, power generation, cement, waste incineration and other industrial furnaces flue gas filtration.
 
PTFE membrane composite on the non-woven fabric can form air purification filter material, can be used in dust-free workshops, laboratories, ventilation equipment, purification equipment, medical electronics and other industries of air purification.
 
(1) Air filter membrane

(2) Purification filter membrane
