The quality of membrane welding heat sealing depends on the coordinated control of temperature, pressure, and time parameters.
Temperature Control:
PVC membrane: Heat sealing temperature range 95℃-205℃, needs adjustment according to coating type.
PTFE/ETFE membrane: Requires heating to near the melting point.
Temperature Monitoring: Use a thermometer or thermocouple for real-time feedback to avoid overheating and membrane carbonization.
Pressure Control:
Pressure Range: Needs adjustment according to membrane thickness.
Pressure Distribution: Use a pneumatic or hydraulic pressurization system to ensure uniform pressure distribution to the welding surface.
Time Control:
Welding Time: Needs adjustment according to membrane thickness.
Cooling Time: Allows for natural cooling after welding to avoid cracking due to thermal expansion and contraction.
Overlap Width:
G-type membrane (PTFE): Overlap width not less than 50mm.
P-type membrane (PVC): Overlap width not less than 25mm.
E-type membrane (ETFE): Overlap width not less than 10mm.
