Tensile membrane Structure Design (2)

The material used in the structure has very excellent strength, and its flexibility is very high. It is made of fiber woven into fabric substrate. On both sides of the substrate, the fabric substrate is processed and fixed by resin as coating material. The fabric substrate in the center is divided into poly fiber and glass fiber.

In mechanics, the fabric substrate and coating material respectively have functional properties that affect the following.

(1) Fabric substrate A - tensile strength, tear strength, heat resistance, durability,
(2) Fireproof coating material - weather resistance, anti-fouling, processability, water resistance, product resistance, light transmission.

 

The materials used in construction are divided into PVC film and PTEF film because their layers are not the same. The selection of materials depends on the building area, application area and use time.

PVC fabric saves time compared to PTFE fabric in material and production, and its advantages are softer texture and easy to carry out construction work. However, it also has some problems, such as strength and use time and fire resistance are worse than PTFE fabric.

PVC membrane material is made of polyester fiber fabric plus PVC coating, and the material used in ordinary buildings is micron thick acrylic resin on the surface treatment of PVC coating material, thereby enhancing its anti-fouling characteristics.

However, when used for a long time, it is easy to fade, and it will become dirty, and the quality is not as good as before. The common use time of such materials is relatively long, due to the different operating environment, generally between five and eight years. In order to improve its weather resistance characteristics, in recent years, fluorin-based resins have been developed to coat the surface treatment of PVC coating materials, which can improve its weather resistance characteristics.

 

PTFE film is a material coated with polytetrafluoroethylene resin on the ultra-fine glass fiber fabric. Its advantages lie in its high durability, its ability to prevent fire, and most importantly its level of resistance to pollution is very good.

However, compared with PVC, its raw material costs and production costs are very high, and it is not very soft, in the construction of the time, in order to prevent fiber damage, have to use special equipment and process treatment.

(1) Durability: the coated PTFE is very stable to acids and other chemicals and ultraviolet rays, and there will be no discoloration. Moreover, after continuous use of the fiber, it is not easy to cause its strength to become low. PTFE color is usually white, and light transmission is very good, can be used for up to 25 years

(2) anti-fouling: Because the coating material is polytetrafluoroethylene resin, it does not have high friction, so it is not easy to be affected by dirt, and it can be cleaned using rain.

(3) Fire resistance: it conforms to the characteristics of all fireproof materials and can replace other substances to run

 


PVDF is a short term for difluorinated resin, and the material coated with PVDF resin on the surface treatment of PVC film is called PVDF film. Compared with ordinary PVC, it lasts longer, generally between seven and ten years.

PVF is short for monofluorinated lipid. PVF film is made of PVF resin on the surface treatment of PVC, which is more durable than the previous one and more able to deal with pollution.

However, because its manufacturability and practicality and fire resistance are not very good, all its use direction is subject to certain limitations.
