PFA is short for Polyfluoroalkoxy, Chinese name is: tetrafluoroethylene - perfluoroalkoxy vinyl ether copolymer (also known as: perfluoroalkylate, soluble polytetrafluoroethylene).
PFA resin is a relatively new fluorine plastic that can be processed by melting. PFA, FEP and PTFE have similar chemical properties, but FEP can only be used below 200 degrees, while PTFE cannot be injected.
About PFA Film:
PFA films provide the highest continuous service temperature (260°C) of any melt-processable fluoropolymer.
PFA films have many of the performance characteristics of PTFE in a clear, transparent form, but can be heat-sealed and thermoformed, metallized or laminated onto a variety of materials.
PFA films have excellent dielectric properties over a wide range of temperatures and frequencies, the highest levels of chemical and stress cracking resistance, as well as excellent transparency and good weather resistance.
PFA film Features:
Operating temperature range from -254°C to 260°C
Highly transparent
Excellent weather resistance
Excellent chemical resistance
Excellent bending life and stress cracking resistance
Easily thermoformed, welded or laminated
No void or pinhole low permeability
Excellent insulation
PFA universal film application:
Protective lining, semiconductor package, compensator, film and seal, liquid bag.
