Selection of materials for roof membrane structures and analysis of heat sealing processes and equipment

I. Material Selection:

PVC Membrane Material

Features:
* Easy Installation: Soft material, easy to cut and install.
* Limited Durability: Ordinary PVC membrane material has a service life of about 10 years; long-term use can lead to discoloration and cracking.
* Moderate Fire Resistance: Requires the addition of flame retardants to meet fire safety requirements.
* Suitable Scenarios: Temporary buildings, low-budget projects, or short-term use scenarios.

II. Heat Sealing Process
* High-Frequency Heat Sealing (High-Frequency Welding)
* Principle: Utilizes a high-frequency electromagnetic field to polarize the molecules inside the membrane material, generating heat. After melting the coating, pressure is applied and cooling is performed to achieve welding.

Advantages:
* High Welding Strength: Joint strength can reach 80%-90% of the base material.
* Good Airtightness: Low leakage rate, suitable for inflatable structures.
* Precise Control: Small temperature fluctuations, avoiding material damage.

Applicable Materials: PVC.

III. Heat Sealing Equipment: High-Frequency Welding Machine Selection Guide
* Core Parameters
* Power: Selected according to membrane thickness and welding speed; 5-15kW is commonly used for PVC membrane material.

Frequency: 27.12MHz international industrial band, ensuring welding stability.

Pressure System: Servo-driven hydraulic system, pressure adjustment range 0.1-1MPa, adaptable to different membrane material requirements.

Temperature Control: Real-time monitoring with infrared sensors to prevent overheating damage.

Safety Protection: Spark protection system, electromagnetic shielding device, emergency stop button.

Equipment Types:
Single-head high-frequency machine: Suitable for small membrane material welding.

Rail-mounted high-frequency machine: Equipped with an automatic walking rail, welding length can be customized (e.g., 60-meter rail), suitable for large-scale production.

IV. Selection Recommendations: Match equipment according to needs.
Small projects with limited budgets: Choose a single-head high-frequency machine to meet basic welding needs.

Large-scale production or complex shapes: Choose a gantry/rail-mounted high-frequency machine to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Safety First: Choose equipment equipped with spark protection, electromagnetic shielding, and an emergency stop button to reduce operational risks.
